GMA 3100: Fuzzy screen during ubuntu-12.04.4-desktop installation

Please advice

I'm new with Ubuntu.

I get fuzzy screen during installation of ubuntu-12.04.4-desktop 32-bit,where i cannot even see installation wizard.Could this be related to my graphics card?

Model: G31MXP Series

It is on-board graphics card.

A brief googling seems to indicate that you have Intel GMA 3100 graphics, which sometimes needs a little tweaking.
First experiment: How does it work in 13.10?
