Hello to all
this is the first time I write on the forum , because it is the first time that I have problems with the installation of Ubuntu.
I'll cut to the chase .
All components are new and I decided to install ubuntu .
I downloaded the version 13:10 and I put it on a pendrive bootable . In live mode works perfectly, but when I decide to install the system freezes to the " copy files " .
I also tried older versions of ubuntu , but the result is always the same . It crashes to copy files to about 22%.
My hardware consists of
Asus P7P55D -e
4 g ram kingston
Nvidia video card , can not remember which
2 of tera hard drive Western Digital (WDC - WD20EARX 00PAS )
The bios is set this way:
storage configuration - > SATA configuration ( Compatible) configure as Sata (IDE)
. I've tried various configurations of SATA configuration, but the result is always the same.
How can I fix ?
Thanks Emanuele
