That's great. There are some very promising things coming out of Israel that are Linux related and help people. Another example is the CUBE (arstechnica.com/information-technology/2013/09/2-45-cube-pc-runs-android-and-linux-on-cortex-a9-arm-chip/) PC which was designed by two Arab Israelis and is a computer costing as little as $45 without peripherals - perhaps it could be connected to screens, mouses , keyboards etc that the West is dumping in Africa (as the OPs article suggested)

That's incredible. I believe the more connected we all are, the more peaceful we will be.
