Selecting French at install, I smoothly installed Ubuntu 12.04 on a single user desktop, but the system was English after completion. After I updated everything to the latest: kernel (.60) software, etc., I re-installed French again, and uninstalled English just to be sure. Rebooted the system, and all the menus & softwares are still in English, even though my Control panel language selections indicate French everywhere! I don't what went wrong and how can I correct this? Can anyone please help? Thanks.
