Windows key (Super L) is not working.

I am running Ubuntu 12.04 with MATE on an HP Pavilion Laptop.
Yes, I already know that this has been an issue for a while, I'm just wondering if anyone has fond a fix in the last two years since the 12.04 came out.

That seems like a mate problem.
Nothing the Ubuntu devs will do about as mate is unsupported on 12.04.

Sorry if I came across as a debbie downer of sorts.

But off topic, there is work being done now to get mate into the official repos.
Some stuff has already made it into the 14.04 repos
(But don't expect any of that to trickle down to 12.04, or even 13.10)

So, from that stance, we'll see...
