Upgrade question

I am running 13.04 and the ONLY reason this computer exist is to
watch Netflix. If I do the upgrade to 13.10 will I lose all those plugins
that let me watch Netflix. Can I just keep running 13.04 ? I repeat this
computer is only used for Netflix.

What packages are you using to watch Netflix? Are those in one of the repos or you got them from other sources? You can browse the packages in the Saucy repository to check that the apps you use are still supported. In that case, an upgrade should be advisable.

I use my 13.10 laptop to watch Netflix. I didn't have to do much to get it to work, but I'm just using wine. It took about 20 minutes to set up. I used these instructions: http://how-to.wikia.com/wiki/How_to_watch_Netflix_%28Watch_Instantly%29_in_Linu x

I did the upgrade and I didn't lose my Netflix after all.
