Box is a Dell Latitude 830, and it ran 13.04 just fine. The upgrade appeared to proceed smoothly, but now I stick at the point where my desktop background is painted but the login box is greyed-out. The disk-busy light is on almost continuously (it does blink off for an instant every now and then). I booted in 'safe' mode and fsck completed without noticing anything amiss.
