I have set up a box for a new user with Xubuntu 12o4. Its ready to go except for one thing thats bugging me, the time and date. It displays in a over/under fashion and I want it to be side by side. I am not hitting on the proper code for this. Can someone save me some time and tell me where I'm goofing up?

Hi

I use the orage clock in Xubuntu. It has a handy calendar as well that stores events, alarms and can import .ical files.

It appears "side by side".

Kind regards

For informational purposes, you can also make the same change to the Date/Time plugin by setting Layout->Format to read "Date Only" and the setting Date->Format to "Custom" with a value something like "%a %b %d, %l:%M%P". Look at the date man page for what each of the format sequences mean.
