I have Aser Netbook with Intel Atom CPU N550 @ 1.50GHz, 2.0GB RAM, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150. I want to switch to Ubuntu. And I'm not sure of whether I should choose Ubuntu 13.10 or Lubuntu. Please help me. Thx

Just try them from a USB stick. No amount of advice can replace personal experience.

Hi, welcome to the fora.
You are probably the best to answer the question. If you try both of them in a live boot which do you prefer?

I would try Ubuntu 1310 Salamander, if it works ok then next month you can upgrade to 14.04 LTS.
i installed 13.10 salamander myself and did not wait to April for 14.04Long time support, i already upgraded to 14.04 and it sais LTS, and works great

Going for 14.04 is an option if there's a problem with 13.10 on the particular hardware, else I would not recommend it.
Stay with 13.10 until support runs out in July and do a fresh install of 14.04 at that time.
