Getting Nvidia card to work on a Schenker XMG C703 laptop

I just bought a Schenker XMG C703 laptop and have installed Ubuntu 13.10. What are some things I can try to get the Nvidia GTX 765M card to work?

Followed that guide and it works, but now the next problem appears: how do I get Unity to use either the integrated Intel GPU or the Nvidia card?

I mean, I can start glxspheres with optirun and it works with the Nvidia, and presumably the same is true for other applications, but I'd like the WM itself to be accelerated. Currently it's using the CPU.

Any ideas?
