xPenguins

Greetings,
I've installed xPenguins to my Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (I'm new to whole Linux thing), but when I start it (type "xpenguins") I'm getting only

Drawing to Nautilus Desktop and redrawing overwritten desktop icons
And nothing heppends...
What can I do to get my litle penguins?

I have them working and see the same terminal output. ???? Using default Intel driver.
