upgrade 11.10 to 12.04 option disable via CD

Hi

I want to upgrade the OS from 11.10 to 12.04 via CD. In that the option of "upgrade from 11.10 to 12.04" showing disable during the installation. Why this option showing disabled ????

I cannot upgrade the same via 12.04 CD ?????

I don't think the upgrade from a normal cd was ever supported, though an upgrade via the alternate cd was/is

I went to the above link its downloading the normal ubuntu installation cd that I have. and I am trying with the same cd.
