Having played around with all the office applications I have finally come up with a system that works well for me and may for others too. That is using the Chromium Browser and the Google Drive with their office apps on it. That way you can keep what you want on the cloud and what you want your Ubuntu machine. It all coordinates beautifully with your PC and Apple too. :D I have to say that Ubuntu has really brought my 11 year old IBM G40 Laptop back to life !
