I used Mac Linux USB Loader to create a OS X bootable live USB. I'm using an early 2011 Macbook Pro w/AMD Radeon HD 6750 2.3 Core i7.
I have tried Ubuntu 13.10 64 for mac, and other mint variants.
I have tried changing the boot options from the boot up menu including activating all options #2-#8
Results are the same each time.
Loading Kernel...done.
Loading initial RAM disk...done.
Attempting to boot the linux distribution now...
error: no suitable video mode found.
Booting in the blind mode
Then small little white lines appear in the upper 1/4 of the screen and it appears to hang, or if it's at the desktop, I can't see it. Attached is a picture of the screen.
I assume it's something to do with video drivers, but I am new to linux and just starting out. So I'm not quite sure how to proceed.
Any help appreciated.
