Hi Everyone,

I try to do a dual boot (actually a trio (win7 - win8.1 - ubuntu) on a lenovo z500.
Ubuntu boots with grub but the two windows can't (drivemap can't found).
It's MBR partition since windows couldn't install on gpt style partition
Please help me find a solution - maybe it's start all over or forget dual boot or forget windows 8.1.

here are my lists:

Hi Biro_Denes (http://ubuntuforums.org/member.php?u=1900564)

Please start your own thread. Its not good etiquette to hijack someone else's thread.
Use Boot-Repair (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Repair) Utility to create a Bootinfo Summary and post the link it creates in your new thread.

We need details. Windows always installs all boot files in one active (boot flag) partition. So grub menu will only show one Windows to boot and from Windows you can choose other installs.
But you are showing a FAT32 partition with boot flag? Usually in BIOS/MBR that flag is on a 100MB (hidden) boot partition for either Windows 7 or Windows 8.

Post the link to the Create BootInfo report. Is part of Boot-Repair:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Info (sehttps://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Info)

While discussing Vista, still applies to all BIOS/MBR Windows installs.
