hello

I decided to make the switch just recently and I found that while playing minecraft, I have a very low frame rate even while on the lowest settings. Could a driver not have installed when I switched?

I have a Chromebook C720 64bit
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics (Haswell)

I just checked with the details and it states that the graphics driver is unknown. I tried to install it from https://01.org/linuxgraphics/downloads but it won't let me install it. it keeps saying Dependency is not satisfiable: libglib2.0-0(>=2.37.3)

what exactly does that mean?
and is there a method to getting the graphics driver installed?

Thanks in advance

Intel driver are part of the kernel
Doesn't matter which desktop you use
I'm not sure a Laptop is an ideal game machine, especially with Intel GPU

My Chromebook did get a little hot when I was playing in cinnamon, but I would like for my system to at least recognize that I do have something in it.

would mesa-utils do any good?

My inclination would be to reduce overheads by choosing a desktop like Xubuntu with effects off.

I'm not familiar with these Google machines either
