When we upgrade from one version of Ubuntu to another we should disable any PPAs and reactivate them after the upgrade has completed. The upgrade scripts that the developers create cannot take into account all the changes that users make to the system. Does Ubuntu still load and does it still work? Can you run Update Manager and does it work or do you get an error and are unable to update?

Regards.

The error comes during the start of the update, it does not allow the update. thus, no problems with normal functionality.

Thanks for the quick response, sorry about my delay
