Hey.
First Sorry for bad English not native language.

I realy want to make a full move over to Linux (ubuntu/Mint) from Windows (18 years)

But there are some big bumps inn the way that i hope you guys can help me with.

I currently running a clevo laptop with (******) optimus.

I have tried to run bumblebee the last 3 - 4 weeks but i dont get it to work properly and getting daemon error ect ect
and i cant find solution for my problems so i googled optimus linux support and i got to nvidia-prime (yes!)

I did a reinstall of ubuntu 13.10 and installed nvidia-prime, rebootet and got error message about daemon, cant remember exactly what it said but something about nvidia-daemon error.

googled some more and found out that ubuntu 14.04 hade something called nvidia-prime 0.5 so i installed 14.04 and did the same installation as inn 13.10 but no it worked! (YES)

So i got a running ubuntu 14.04 with optimus (loving it)

BUT

its not stabel (reboots, freezes, strange colors ect ect..)

So i am wondering why does nvidia-prime work on 14.04 and not on 13.10 and is it smarter to run 13.10 since 14.04 is alpha stage?
