Ubuntu 13.10 on new HP notebook. Tried to install chrome. Now whenever I run a command from the terminal execution does not complete and a message appears "E: The package google-chrome-stable needs to be reinstalled, but I can't find an archive for it."
What is to be done? Can I uninstall chrome? If so, how?
Also, a round red symbol with a white bar through it appears on the top address. Not sure what to do.
I don't care if I can't use chrome, but I need to be able to use the command window, and can't find a way around it.
