Urgh, I've had it! As of revision 101, we now have libdvdcss2 and java in hoary-extras-staging/restricted. w32codecs are soon to come. ;)

nice! gst-ffmpeg would be nice for those still trying to use gstreamer.

Though for me, VERY NICE.
Some people say that mplayer is broken, so that's an idea, though again, nothing I'd like personally.

Thanks!

Just installed all three of them. I would also like to see the latest versions of scid and crafty. We all love chess, don't we, uhh? ;)

gstreamer-lame would be nice. Being able to encode to MP3 is always asked about by new users.

Please put everything from marillat in that is used by people here. So everyone can get everything from one repository then. Please let us know when hoary-extras contains all from marillat when/if you have done this.

The same holds for gnomebaker. Here's the version of gnomebaker I use :

deb http://people.debian.org/~goedson/packages/ubuntu/hoary/gnomebaker/releases/i386/ ./

Would you be so kind of not putting packages in hoary-extras that are already in hoary main/universe/multiverse ?

What are your plans for hoary-extras ?

keep up the good work!

1. Oops, did I do that? Stuff already in Ubuntu's repositories (only older) will always be put in hoary-backports.

2. I have a FreeNX rebuild going. Mostly, I'd like to mirror marillat, if I can find some frickin source archives for some of the stuff, that would be great.

1 no I was just informing :)
2 great

what about thoggen ? I've seen the website .. seems nice and there's already a debian package for it. http://thoggen.net

What about gnomebaker ? You just have to copy it :)

edit :

And it would be great if the menu-editor project by Amaranth would be included in hoary-extras.

edit 2 :
As soon as anyone packs beagle that would be nice too. But as I understand that this is very hard to do because dependencies change and maybe some libraries may be necessary that are not in Ubuntu.

Is it possible to include mplayer?
the one in the multiverse (or was it universe) in Hoary has lots of problems (not opening, and random crashes).

I'd appreciate that, too. Adding marillat to my repositories just for two or three packages sucks hard and without hope for recovery.

What i still miss is Adobe Acrobat Reader 7 (!) and the official Macromedia FlashPlayer PlugIn.
