Hi everyone!

I just bought an Asus X102B (netbook wih touchscreen) and tried to install Xubuntu 13.10. The installation "worked", but when I restarted, I got error message about the failed installation of AMD (my graphics card, if I understood well?), then the welcome screen of xunbuntu, then all black. Now, when I restart, I don't even get the xubuntu screen, only the error text and then black screen.

Does anyone know if that graphics card is at all compatible with any distro? Or anything I could do/try to make it work with Xubuntu? I read here http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2196364 that someone tried different ones back to 12.04 without success, but that was with an ATI graphics card.

I'm not going back to Windows... hope someone could be able to help! :)

Thanks a lot,

Marie

AMD and ATI is the same company.
How does it work if you install Xubuntu 13.10 but without checking 'add updates' and 'add restricted packages' during install?
