View Full Version : [lubuntu] Wrong mouse pointer in Xvnc session

Since upgrading to Lubuntu 13.10, I find that a session started in Xvnc initially has the X mouse pointer. If I run lxappearance (either from Preferences | Customize Look and Feel or from the command line), the mouse pointer changes to an arrow. Understand that I don't do anything in lxappearance, I just run it. I am thinking of writing a script that runs lxappearance from autostart and then kills it after a second, but I am wondering whether anyone knows of a better way to fix this problem.

I do not have this problem connecting to xrdp or x11vnc.
