Hi,

Some of the icons from settings are missing and when I find and click on Appearance, it just opens Settings and I can't see Appearance icon in the Settings menu. I am also unable to change Date settings and there is also a weird black background in Settings menu.

Black Background:-

248973

Settings Menu/Window:-

248974

I am running Ubuntu 13.10 and I have tried reinstalling gnome-control-center but that doesn't help either. Any help would be much appreciated :D

UPDATE: I fixed the black background problem by removing overlay-scrollbar.

Hello and Welcome

Are you using the Unity or another desktop environment ? I ask because the settings GUI looks different than mine , but it may be due to the theme.

I am using a custom theme so that is why it might look different. As for the desktop environment, I'm using the stock one that comes with 13.10 which I think is GNOME 3.

Unity is the default desktop on 13.10 . By custom theme is this one you created your-self or just installed ?
