Hi,
I have a problem, whereby any mouse I plug in to my Compaq CQ60 works for a few minutes and then dies. If I then take that mouse, and plug it in to a different laptop or desktop it no longer works. In effect my laptop permanently kills mice. I have tried this with several mice, new and second hand, and always the same result. Could it be a virus?
I am running Ubuntu solely now, but the machine used to have Windows Vista on it.
