Hello All,

I am new Ubuntu user and I have tried to install last version on my Dell Insparion 14R (http://www.dell.com/us/p/inspiron-14r-5421/pd‎) but I am facing some problem during the installation period. Please help me if you have any solution.

Thanks in advance.

If it has UEFI, then I would give this article a read: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UEFI

You will have to make some changes in the BIOS, and you should be alright.

Dell's seem to be similar across models with just different configurations. So some of these may apply. If new Haswell or 4th gen Intel chip, use 13.10 or wait for 12.04.4 in Jan.
Someone posted that all of the sputnik updates are now included in 13.10.

You have to be more specific about the problem you are facing during installation, we can't help by just posting 'some solutions' to "some problem".
Describe the problem.
