Kay, well I've been trying to get my icons to change in ubuntu, so I installed gnome tweak tool and what not, and then tried to install the Numix icons, I changed some of these icons and only some of the icons change like in folder manager, and on the settings manager or the application menu (which is a gnome extension I installed) these icons do not appear,http://i.imgur.com/V1lpVpe.png - screenshot ( not sure if I'm supposed to post the link, the image was quite big on the preview, ANYWAY what I'm trying to achieve is the numix icons changing in the settings manager, it appears to change the < > and the refresh button in google chrome changed, but nothing else, not even the taskbar icons anyone have any ideas? thanks!

Are you sure that the icon set has icons for all those things you mentioned? A lot of times icon sets are incomplete (ie, my Faenza pack doesn't have anything for Spotify) and therefore can't change the icons.

Mhmm, I am pretty sure it almost all the icons I installed numix icons from; http://ubuntuhandbook.org/index.php/2013/10/install-numix-gtk-icons-theme-ubuntu-1310-1404/ which shows these icons, ALSO in another installation of Ubuntu I did, it had it till I had to reinstall ubuntu, I could never seem to get these icons working.

There are four Numix icon variations and I find that only three are complete . Numix-Circle, u-Touch and u- Touch GS apply icons to system settings while the plain Numix set does not.
