On Ubuntu 13.10 I have my terminal profile preference checked to have bold color Same as text color. Yet when I run a script to check my colors I get the following output:

This is really throwing my Vim out of whack as my bold colors are just showing up as an ugly grey color. Is there somewhere else this needs to be set? What is happening here?
Here is the site where I got the script and also explains how these colors should match (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=164108). Granted, it is not in Ubuntu.
