Hi there,

I recently finished my tutorial for how to set up a comfortable and useful Linux terminal environment (http://amplitudeproblem.com/blog/?p=7), focusing more on users than pure system administration. A video version is forthcoming.

Regards.

I posted this in tutorials. Not sure why it was moved.

Probably because it fails to abide by these guidelines

It's fine here, I think. I don't have any plans to remove it. I didn't have a chance to read it, but it looked like it is good work.

We just have the special guidelines for what is appropriate in the Tutorials section.

Cheers!

Thank you kindly. It was hard work and I hope it can be of use. Understood about the special guidelines; they make sense.

Very nice. Thank you for sharing!
Me and two friends a bit ago were in the Google Hangout and we had fun improving the look of MC. I got rid of the ghastly colors and the black background straight away and it looks much nicer.
I'm going to grab your link and stow it over at LI in case there is something in there someone might need at some point.
Thanks!

Thanks, guys! I think I like the idea of getting rid of the blue MC background. :)
