A Question About Installing From A Flash Drive

I have a flash drive that i have used to install ubuntu before,since then i have put numerous things on the flash drive but wish to install ubuntu again on a laptop. If i install ubuntu on the laptop will it erase the contents of my flashdrive? I know this may be an odd quesiton but i just want to make sure before i do the install

No, it will not. The installer does not erase the flash drive. I think the question should be, did anything you put on the flash drive after the installation over-write the image that you had on there.
