Hi All,
I would really appreciate your help on this as the Ubuntu machine is the only computer I have now apart from this Android phone. That's why this is going to be a tad complex.
I wanted to make the G4 faster by installing the altivec libraries. Well, I broke it and all I get is this on boot:
ERROR: ld.so: object 'usr/local/lib/...from /etc/ld.so.preload cannot be preloaded: ignored
I can boot into OpenFirmware and maybe somehow boot an image from this android phone, mount the disk, and fix the problem. Question is, where do I start?
The problem is that I'm not at home and have no access to any other PC. No Linux CD or anything, but I need my computer badly. Where do I start?
