Ubuntu naming flashback... I never knew how intrepid ibexes really were

When Ubuntu came out with Intrepid Ibex years ago, I thought they were just looking for some alliterative name for some obscure animal (confession: I had to look up ibex).

I recently saw this, though, and it's pretty cool... ibexes... being intrepid:

It looks like they're eating the moss and fungi on them there bricks.

Pretty cool.

Beats me by a mile, I get vertigo climbing up ten feet onto the roof to clean out the gutters.
And I deal with a far less steep incline.
I'm dizzy thinking about it.

Very interesting and at the same time cool. I guess I should look it up more myself cause there are times they pick some animal I have never heard of and I see the animated wallpaper of it and I am just thinking "okay why would they pick this animal". Obviously after seeing this post and get there is something unique about each animal.
