Hello,
After installing Ubuntu on my new windows surface pro I ran into a few problems.
on the boot I receive the surface logo with a red background, black is the norm, it boots to the Grub, but there is no windows option, also If I attempt to boot to ubuntu I get stuck on a purple screen and stays there.

I followed the install instructions h (http://askubuntu.com/questions/265644/dual-boot-surface-pro-with-ubuntu)ere (http://askubuntu.com/questions/265644/dual-boot-surface-pro-with-ubuntu) and I know that I did not write over the windows partition.
I no longer can boot from usb or micro-sd

I have tried to factory reset from the power off, and volume keys method (no citation) to no prevail
I can still boot into the UEFI via the power button and volume up rocker

I do have a tech warranty at best buy with geek squad, will this void my warranty? If not could they fix it?

This problem is an added pain since there I have to use my friends wired keyboard since I did not pay the price for the surface type cover.

Any help would be advised, I do not care if I loose all my data
