Hi all
Have decided that this week is the week to upgrade from Xubuntu 13.04 to 13.10. Before doing my main desktop PC, I thought I'd try it on my netbook first. All seems okay, took about two hours but there is a strange notification pop-up in the top right.
It looks like a light bulb. There is no X to close it. When an application first opens it blinks but then settles once the application is fully open.
