Adding blur to Unity launcher in 13.10

Hey,
Just wondering if it was possible to add a blur to the launcher in 13.10 like the one present when I hit the alt key (see image below).

That would be a neat effect. A blurred Launcher that reveals the icons with a mouse over. If anything does this it would be Unity Tweak Tool or Compiz Configuration Settings Manager (CCSM). Both are in the Software Centre but I cannot say if they can give that effect.

Yeah, I tried both of them. Sadly, neither allow blurring the launcher. However, they do allow blurring the dash.
