No matter what I do I can not get Ubuntu to boot. I really do not know what to do so it's probablly a self error, but here is what I've gotten before it freezes:

If you type ESC, you should switch to a text screen with error messages. Should give some idea of what the problem is.

It completely freezes and the only thing you can do is hold down the power button to turn it off

adamrosol; Hi ! My welcome to the forum.
A bit more info to help you is needed.
1. /dev/loop0 -> puts me in mind of a "Wubi" install. If so, it is no longer supported. -installing from within Windows -
2. What machine are you attempting the install onto ? What architecture ?
3. What version and distro are you trying to install ?
4. What means are you using to install: DVD, USB, pen drive ? Did you verify the .iso file (md5sum) and check the disk integrity (check disk for defects in boot options screen) ?
5. Is 'buntu to be the sole operating system installed ? Or are you wanting to dual boot ?
6. And last but not least, is UEFI or ISRT or secure boot an issue ??
We will do all in our power to get ya up and running 'buntu ! Millions do it and - until we know different - you will too.
