I am currently using Lubuntu 12.10 and I have spotify installed. The media keys do work with rhythmbox, but not with spotify. I was having this problem whenever I signed in on lubuntu or ubuntu (with unity). I was able to fix the problem in unity by installing spotify-gnome, but I have not been able to find a similar fix for lxde. I've searched around and found nothing. Help would be greatly appreciated!
