I am trying to install Ubuntu 13.10 (source=disk, download and burn the disk). when i am doing so Ubuntu is not recognizing that Windows 8 is installed. Please dont say asked and answer because My question is:
1. Is my Ubuntu disk has some issues yes no and why
2. Is my Windows 8 installed on system has some issues yes no why
3. what do i need to do to make it work normally

please don't advice me work around. if i wanted work around i would have not posted here. Normal scenario is Ubuntu sees Window8 and give me options to installed alongside it. its not giving that.

Do you still have fast boot or always on hibernation. You have to turn that off.

WARNING for Windows 8 Dual-Booters
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1953674
It defaults shutdown to a hybrid hibernation/off state for fast boot

But then files may be corrupted similar to Windows 7 Hibernation:
