Linux video editing app? What are you using?

I just got a new digital camera that shoots video, I'd like to shoot some videos, edit them and put them to music. Is there a a good, simple app for this? 8)

you could try kino or avidemux. you mention that it has to be simple, so cinellara will be well out of your league as its a fully fledged professional video editing app.

I just saw your suggestions and got interested in cinellara (sic). I have searched a lot and couldn't find it. Then, after severall tries (and sites visited), I discovered that its name is:

Cinelerra.
