Can't open folders with 13.10

Hi after updating I cant open any folder or files. If I open files from the launcher it shows all the folder(documents, picture, videos etc) and the same if I give any click on anything everything disappear, if I click files from the launcher it shows all folder again and disappears if I give any click on any folder. I can see the folders on my desktop but they disappear after click on any folder, I can get back the desktop files if I restart the sistem
