This guy's fix (http://askubuntu.com/questions/235345/how-to-install-linux-mint-x-gtk-window-theme-icon-theme-on-ubuntu)

After the mint-x theme was installed, an update was necessary to trigger the changes. That's the solution...a simple update using the update manager.
Doesn't work.
Any ideas?

The Greybird theme closely resembles the Mint theme. It's in the Shimmer themes package, in the repos.

yeah, but the highlights and everything are blue.
I think i need to install "gtk+ 2.0 Change Theme (http://plasmasturm.org/code/gtk-chtheme/)", but i downloaded it and there are no install instructions.
