Problem upgrading

Hey I need some help guys!!! I had my Ubuntu for 2 years already and I never update it to new version !! So I wanted to do and update and I clicked to confirm update but I lost my disc and my screen is black when I turn my PC on !!

What do you mean by "I lost my disk" ? Can you boot into ubuntu at all ?
If so, please paste the outputs to :

cat /etc/apt/sources.list
sudo apt-get update
