Upgraded from Ubuntu 13.04 64 bit (Unity) to 13.10 successfully.
Minor issues with wallpaper backgrounds and the trash bin.
1. Right-Click on desktop , menu opens, choose "Change Desktop Background" and nothing happens.
Sytem Settings => Appearance , this opens ok and you can choose the background.
2. Cannot change the Login wallpaper
The login background does not change from the previous one that was set in 13.04 eg Ringtail background.
Sytem Settings => Appearance , choose a single background wallpaper picture.
Restart => login wallpaper is still the old one.
3. Trash Bin icon on Unity bar => right-click => choose Empty Trash does nothing (with trash in the bin icon shown)
This is only after trying right-click (issue 1) to change the desk top background the empty trash action stops working.
Left-click on the Trash Bin opens the Trash folder and the trash can be emptied.
I have these issues on two different computers.
