I don't remember exactly the last line of the installation log, but I remember it says something like "ubuntu-bluetoothd: Operation not permitted". I was trying to install Ubuntu 13.10 (64-bit version, installation disk image file name does not contain "mac") on a MacBook Pro 8,1 (early 2011).
