Kernal panic - not syncing

So i just recently decided to install ubuntu 12.04 on my dell latitude D630 laptop. After install i rebooted and it gave me this error: "Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)". I used a live cd to attempt boot repair but no luck, i got the same error. Here is my boot repair log i was given: http://paste.ubuntu.com/6343496/
