I have a netbook that I am trying to get Ubunto onto. I removed a recovery partition (TechGuys) so that it could boot up from a USB stick. I selected the option to overwrite Windows (XP).
Towards the end of the installation I had a power cut, and so the installation was interrupted. So I need to start again!
I create a new USB stick, just in case, select the BIOS to boot from the USB Drive, but then all I get is a flashing "_" and cannot get any further.
Can anyone help?
