Just tried above mentioned installation-it resulted in an error-
please refer to the attachment.
I want to install it on C\, it is a SSD.
D\ is a HDD.
What might be the problem, and, of course, the solution?

Thanks for your suggestions!

On several occasions I clicked "thread tools" but nothing happens-what might be the reason?

Got it-"thread Tools" are not clickable in Firefox and Chrome, in IE the drop-down-menue opened!! Perhaps the mentioned browser are too "secure"!

Hi. Just a word. Wubi is being phased out and no longer supported. Are you installing an older release?

So I took another route, from flashdrive.
No, it was the newest version. Installing it from flashdrive, via YUMI, with the 64bit Version, was not at all feasible, colored "snow-storm" in the monitor, 32bit version did not get the internet-access, so I cancelled. Yes, it is a 64bit machine. The CD Installation ran in same problems.

Or too old. Works well for me, never using IE.

Or too young-both are the newest versions, one with a bunch of plugins, the other without.
