Hi all. Ya im a newbie to this stuff. I been trying to get it to work right for almost two weeks now and its driving me crazy. I install and run boot repair and when it reboots i just get a purple screen, then when i reboot again it offers recovery mode but when i try that it starts and the computer just hangs before the keboard starts to work.

If someone could look at this boot record and and see what im doing wrong that would be great. Also im running two nvidia gt 9500 cards and i heard their could be a driver issue.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Welcome to the Ubuntu Forums :-)

It makes it much easier to give relevant help, if you post details about your computer

- Brand name and model
- CPU, RAM (size), and wifi (chip/card)

It is possible, that you have problems to find a suitable driver for your nvidia card. Try the boot option nomodeset
