Hi all,

I want to install ubuntu 12.04 in my new server. My server is having a RAID controller and I am going to attach two 3 TB drives to the raid controller. So the whole 6 TB would be available to my OS as a single drive before installing. Can I install the OS directly to this ? or Is it possible to partition the whole drive automatically on the installation window. I heard that it is unable to create partition above 2 TB and need to do using gpt. But here I am asking whether the OS will take care of it in the installation time ?

Thanks,
G
