Hi,

I have upgraded ubuntu from 13.04 to 13.10 and gnome from 3.8 to 3.10. Everything is smooth but I have lost a few shortcuts: ctrl+alt+T does not open terminal anymore, the brightness and volume keys do not respond either. When I use unity they all work but the top bar (with time, calendar, etc.) does not appear... it's just an empty grey bar... Are there any solutions to this problem?

Thanks!

It may be a Gnome 3.10 problem because the the shortcuts work on 13.10 with the default Gnome 3.8.

I did a clean install of Ubuntu GNOME 3.10 and get this problem. It is bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/965921. Please go and click on the link that the bug affects you too.

Really, really annoying bug. I don't understand why keyboard shortcuts have been a constant issue in Ubuntu/GNOME over so many releases.
