status bar icons broken after 13.10 upgrade

I upgraded top 13.10 yesterday. Since the upgrade my power indicator and my main menu icons in my status bar are not showing correctly. Here is a screenshot of what I am describing.

Where can I change what icon the power-indicator is using?

Are you using one of the two themes provided, Radiance or Ambiance? Or are you using a theme that you have installed yourself? Have you tried using one of the two themes provided by Ubuntu? What version did you upgrade from? It may be that the theme you are using is no longer compatible with the version of Gnome in 13.10. Or perhaps it is the icon set that is not compatible.

I am using ambiance. I tried switching between themes and it was the same result. I upgraded form 13.04 I believe.
